Lets come to the recipe now
Ingredients:
All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 1/4 cups
Sugar – 3/4 cup
Butter – 1/2 cup(in room temperature)
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
Cooking Instructions:
Powder the sugar in a mixer grinder.Sift together maida, powdered sugar and cardamom powder. Cream the butter with a fork and beat well. Now add the flour mix to the butter mix 1 tbsp at a time and mix well thoroughly to form a smooth and soft dough.
Add 1 tbsp milk if the mix is too dry or add a little of flour, if the mixture is little watery/sticky.
Make small balls out of the mix and flatten a bit or you can design it with your cookie cutters. I sprinkled little for cardamom powder on the top of each cookie too. Grease the baking tray and spread a little of flour on that. Now arrange the cookies on the baking tray with a little distance between one and the other cookie since it will expand while it is getting cooked.
Preheat the oven to 150 degree centigrade and place the tray in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes or till golden brown. when it is cooked, remove the try from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes in the tray itself. Cardamom Cookies are now ready to serve!
Thanks divyaskitchen for your nice recipe.
This is my first Blog Anniversary! Actually i started my blog on Feb 25th of 2008, and one whole year was completely over and really, i can't believe it, whether its me, who blogged for a year!! It all happened because of you my blogger friends! Thanks a lot to u all!
I would like to particularly thank my mom and my husband in this great moment! First of all, I would like to thank Pradeep, my husband, who asked me so many times to start a cooking blog and i thought he was absolutely kidding me. I didn't show interest to start a blog at all at that time. Finally he build a blog for me ad ask me to post some recipes and so i did it for him. My hubby really was so patient and every time i drop down, he boost me and encourage me to develop the blog. I hope he know how much i love blogging now and how much it means to me. I thank my hubby from the bottom of my heart, who made me to achieve and for his undying support, enthusiasm and encouragement!
Next to whom i want to thanks is my Mom! We all would have learn cooking from our Mom and she is the great teacher to all of us! For me too, my Mom is my Guru! I learn cooking from her and yet she give me new recipes, whenever i visit my home. I love my mom's cooking. Without her, i would haven't achieve in a cooking blog! Most of the recipes in my blog is from her cookbook only. Thanks a lot mom for guiding me in a too patient way and am so grateful to her!
And i thank all the readers, followers and commenter who all paved me a way to celebrate the first anniversary of my blog! You're all terrific, I honestly have a real affection for you all, and I hope we share many healthy, happy years of blogging together.
