Cooking Instructions:
Wash and drain the excess water from cabbage and carrot. Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan and saute it with mustard seeds. Add grated carrot and cabbage to it and stir well. add coriander powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder and garam masala and a little of salt to it and mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and let the carrot and cabbage cook well which takes few minutes and then switch off the flame.
Add wheat flour, little of salt and cooked cabbage mixture and mix well. Add water little by little and knead well and form a soft dough as we usually prepare for our chapatis and rotis. Take a lemon size dough and roll it out to a small circle using the rolling pin as we do for rotis. Heat tawa and put the rolled out paratha and pour a teaspoon of oil around the edges of paratha and let it fry well. When you see bubbles forming on the top of paratha, turn it to the other side and fry well and remove from tawa. Cabbage Paratha is ready to eat! I Served Cabbage Paratha with Aloo Mutter!!!
