More / Butter Milk

Some people don’t know how to prepare buttermilk though it’s a very simple recipe. Buttermilk is also rich in proteins. Every 100ml of buttermilk contains 8.16gms of proteins in it. And am not sure about the content of protein in percentage. Buttermilk is a health drink also. It helps a lot in digestion.

Ingredients:

Fresh Curd – 1 up
Water – 3 Cups
Chopped Green Chilly – ½ tbsp
Chopped Ginger – 1 tbsp
Finely chopped Raw Mango – 2 tbsp
Curry Leaves – few
Chopped Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Cooking Oil – 1 tbsp
Asafoetodia – a pinch
Salt – to taste

Cooking Instructions:



Add curd, water and salt in a bowl and beat it well with a blender. Add curry leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, green chilly, and mango and asafoetodia and stir it well.

Heat oil in a pan and saute it with mustard seeds. Add this mustard seeds to the prepared butter milk and serve it.
